Okay let’s get started. Remember to save often and most of all have fun.
My tutorial only serves as a guideline so if you want to change something please feel free to do so.

  • Open Frame02 Duplicate (Shift + D). Close original
  • Image – Canvas Size 800 X 800 change picture position to upper center
  • New raster layer Drag under frame layer with magic wand click inside frame – expand 5
  • C/P Pp 08 into selection deselect
  • Back on top layer C/P Frame 03
  • C/P E9 R 80% X 3 Place on framed image between the palm trees
  • C/P EL 08 move below bottom frame layer anchor 1 With eraser tool remove some of the water on the outside of the frame
  • Duplicate EL 08 – move to top layer with eraser tube erase some water over the bamboo frame on the right side exposing one stalk of the bamboo
  • C/P 06 move above first wave layer
  • C/P E13 move to right duplicate mirror On first sand image R 90 % on duplicated sand image R 75%
  • C/P Tube Anchor 2 – if using the same one I am – R 68% then 90% move to center left bring duplicated sand image above tube layer
  • Duplicate tube – Apply guassian blur setting 4
  • Apply Xero – porcelain filter default setting. Change blend mose to soft light. Or one that you like. For instance Screen will give it a brighter lighter color ,Multiply a darker hue so play around and see what you like best
  • Merge Down
  • On bottom water layer – duplicate remove anchor 1 from image. Move up to layer below the mirrored sand image. The water will overlap the bottom of the screen – with eraser tool remove some of the darker blue part
  • Apply Xero – Clarity. Default settings
  • Back on top sand layer with your deformation tool turn the sand to the right some so that it aligns with the wave.
  • C/P E 02 R 58% X 2 then 82%
  • C/p e 21 R 58% place upper rt of frame
  • C/P E 05 R 58% X 2 Place top rt of frame
  • C/P E 15 R 58% X 2 Place above frame layer position top left . Duplicate twice free rotate one frond 50 Right All Layers unchecked, the other frond Free rotate 110.50 Right Use unsharp mask Apply this D/S to all 3 fronds -4, 3, 48, 3.96, #80771b there should be one going across, down and in the center
  • C/P E 26 R 58% X 2 Place atop fronds
  • C/P E 24 R 58% X 2 upper left of frame Apply Xero – clarity filter
  • C/P E18 R 58% X3 place to right of coconut – mirror duplicate move to left of coconut move above coconut layer
  • C/P E 25 R 58% then 82% place to left
  • C/P E 22 R 58% X 2 Free Rotate Right 110.50 all layers unchecked. Unsharp Mask. Place bottom right
  • C/P E16 Move to right
  • Image – Merge visible Center image on canvas R 95%
  • Resize canvas now to your preference. (I resized to 650 X 650)
  • New Layer FF white
  • New Layer Select all C/P Pp 08 into selection
  • Apply mask MD-MaskSet5-3 or one of your choice
  • Add your copyright and license info
  • Add Text I used bubble and soap Added penta filter dot and cross and D/S -1, 1, 100, .99, #a238a2
  • Save as PNG and you are done

Blue Ocean Tutorial Instructions

  • New 800 X 800
  • View Grid selected
  • With selection tool – rounded rectangle Mode: Add Shift Feather 0 anti-alias checked
  • start 2 grids over and 3 grids down draw shape 2 grid wide down to bottom is 3 places up – continue this 4 more times each time dropping down and coming up by 1 grid – on the fifthonly choose grid of 1 width. Please see screen shot for reference
  • Flood Fill With your gradient – Deselect
  • Duplicate – mirror – merge down
  • Apply Filter – Artistic: Underpainting with these settings: 4 / 9 / Burlap / 87% / 2 / Light Direction: top left / invert unchecked
  • Apply Filter Xero – fritillary default setting
  • Apply Filter Crescent Moon – spooky fade with these settings : red 42 / Green – 194 / blue 255 / transparency 3
  • Select All
  • New layer – name layer image
  • C/P pp 14 into selection change blend mode to Multiply
  • New layer name glass layer Apply EC 5 Impact – Glass (or a glass setting from a different version of EC) Settings – Bevel width: 25 / Bevel smoothness 30 / round selection: 0 / Bevel Placement – inside / glass color: white / 0 , 20 , 37, 75, 75, 15.00 , 29
  • Keeping select contract 2 New layer – frame layer Invert float defloat FF with white. I applied SBP sanco knotty gold filter then sharpen- if you don’t have SBP then flood fill with a light tan color add noise sharpen
  • Now deselect
  • merge Visible
  • go to bottom layer ff white
  • New Layer Select all C/P pp 14 into selection deselect
  • Apply Mask: MD-mask3-4 merge group
  • Back to top layer

Adding Elements

  • C/P E 141 R 80%
  • C/P E 119 R 75% move to left duplicate mirror flip
  • C/P E 116 R 75% Move to bottom of image and above the mask layer
  • Back on top layer
  • C/P e 81 R 50% duplicate R 1 another 50% and the other one 62% Place the larger one toward bottom right – and the smaller one toward the back a little on the right size
  • C/P tube – (I used Blue Ocean available at PFD) if using this tube R 50% place in center of canvas
  • Duplicate tube Blur – Guassian blur -5 Apply Xero – Porcelain default setting changing blue to 0 change blend mode to screen or whatever you think looks best with your tube
  • Move the red coral on the right above the tube layer
  • C/P El 10 R 50X 2 move above the larger red coral – duplicate mirror resize another 80% place above other piece of red coral
  • C/P E 9 R 58% X 2 place at top right
  • C/P E 20 R 58% X 2 place at bottom right
  • C/P E 7 R 52% Duplicate R 1 52% move to upper rt. Duplicated seahorse R 68% mirror move to bottom left
  • C/P E 23 R 48% move to left
  • C/P El 22 R 48% mirror move to right
  • Resize now if you want a smaller tag – after resizing add your copyright at License information
  • Save as pspimage if you want a copy to add more names to
  • Add your name I used ManicSea sz 72 (60 for longer names) applied an inner bevel, a tiny double gg and a D/s. Colors F: #003282 / B: #bffefb gradient a 45 r 1 .
  • Inner Bevel Settings: Bevel 2 Width 5 20 , 2, 50, 10 color: white Angle: 315 Intensity: 50 Elevation 20
  • EC 5 Impact GG tiny double settings by vaybs used same colors as text lighter blue first, white, then the darked blue
  • D/S settings: 3, -3, 84, 0.00
  • Save as png and you are done

  • New 700 X 700 Flood Fill white
  • Select All C/P pp 7 as new layer crop to selection
  • Mask DD Assorted Mask 6
  • Select All C/P pp 10 as new layer crop to selection
  • Mask DD Geo Mask 6 merge group
  • Effects – edge effect enhanced
  • C/P El 1 move toward top – duplicate flip
  • C/P el 7 R – 58% Do Not Add DS yet Anchor 1
  • With magic wand select inside all three frames – C/P pp 4 as new layer R 72% Invert delete Drag paper layer under frame – deselect Anchor 1
  • C/P tube R 50% move under frame layer – above paper layer left side Duplicate tube Mirror R 75% . Place image within left frame Anchor 1 on both images once you have them where you want them
  • With magic wand click inside far left frame – expand 10 – on tube layer Invert Clear. Deselect
  • Duplicate – change blend mode to overlay on bottom image on top image apply Guassian blur 4 Apply Xero Filter: porcelain default settings changing blue to 0. blend mode: soft light on top image
  • Do the same with the image under the frame on the right. Changing blend modes to multiply and screen
  • C/p el 10 R 48% X 2 place on left side lnside of left frame
  • C/P El 15 R 75% Free rotate 90 L all layers unchecked d/s change -1, 3. 75, 1.98
  • C/P tube R 48% and then 75%. place in center of canvas
  • E32 R 48% bottom center of frame above tube
  • C/p El 28 R R 50% X 2 then 75% X 1 Free Rotate L 32.09 All layers unchecked
  • C/P el 52 R 50% X 2 place bottom left of frame. Duplicate, mirror – flip
  • C/P E 14 R 50% X 2 place inside bottom of right frame
  • C/P E 19 R 50% place upper left side
  • C/P E 18 R 60% X 2 duplicate Free Rotate L 46.34 place below tube over middle frame layer Mirror original image and place at top left Duplicate mirrored image and free rotate same settings )Remember to apply sharpen mask after rotating images so they are not blurry)
  • Close white background layer and mask layers
  • Merge Visible R 95% Duplicate
  • On bottom layer apply guassian blur 5 then radial blur with theses settings: Twirl Strength: 50 / Twirl Degrees: -38 / Elliptical checked / H – o / V: -6 / Protect center: 0
  • Apply filter penta: dot and cross default settings
  • Open up mask layers.
  • Resize canvas now if you would like it smaller.
  • After resizing apply copyright and license information
  • Save as pspimage
  • I used the Mozza Font at size 72px Colors: F – #521276 / B – #c1a4f5 Foreground/Background Gradient: angle 0 repeat 0
  • I added a D/S with theses settings: 1 / -1 / 100 / 1.98 / #521276
  • Add name and save as a PNG image.

  • New image 800 X 800 FF white
  • New Layer Select All C/P Pp 10 into selection
  • Apply mask MD-maskset5-3 )or mask oof choice) merge group
  • E 64 R 68% move to top
  • C/P e 78 R 82% click inside frame with magic wand expand selection 5
  • c/p pp 3 as new layer R 82% move around to your liking. I placed the paper with the clam at the bottom of right.
  • C/P close up of tube (if using the same one R 52%
  • On frames paper layer S/F/D invert selection
  • On tube layer delete
  • Duplicate tube on bottom tube change blend mode to screen – on duplicated layer change blend mode to soft light (or whatever your preference)
  • E 138 R 50% inside lt corner of frame
  • E 175 anchor 1 move to top right over swirl
  • Duplcate – move duplicated layer under frame back on top layer with eraser tube remove part of the fish over frame
  • Close bg and mask layer
  • Merge Visible
  • Duplicate merged layer (frame)
  • Apply Guassian blur 4 then Xero Porcelain default setting change blue to 0
  • Change blend mode to screen (if you want a darker look try multiply or overlay)
  • Merge down
  • On top layer E 181 R 52% move to left over swirl
  • duplicate R 72% mirror
  • C/P E 44 place bottom center
  • C/P el 24 R 50% Effects – Edge Effects – Enhance Placement lower left
  • E 20 R 52% move in front of plant
  • C /P E 65 R 50% mirror move to bottom of frame
  • C/P E 7 R 50% X 2 placement: bottom left
  • C/P E 72 R 50% placement: bottom left
  • C/P tube R 62% then 90% (may be different depending on the tube you are using)
  • C/P E 43 R 50% move to right above mermaids’ (tubes’) tail

  • C/P E 21 move to center of canvas then down a little bit (Do not add a D/S to this layer)
  • C/P E 36 Place midway of grass layer (Do not add a D/S to this layer)
  • C/P E 4 R 52% move to upper right (Do not add a D/S to this layer)
  • C/P E 50 R 52% move to center right Duplicate Mirror
  • C/P E 13 R 72% You may need to move the flowers we just placed so they are partially under the frame.
  • C/P E 25 Move down
  • C/P E 10 R 68% move to right lower area of frame
  • C/P E 6 R 52% Free rotate all layers unchecked R 28.52 Move to right over grass
  • C/P E 1 Duplicate R 68% mirror move under grass. the other fish R 82% move to left center
  • C/P Dolphin from tube (if not using the same tube) or Chibi (E 26)
  • Instructions will be for Chibi but if using the dolphin R 32% then R 85%
  • C/P E 26 R 82% X 2 then R 92% place so that you can see the fish behind her
  • With the larger of the 2 fish Anchor 1 – then duplicate move duplicated fish above the mermaid
  • Erase the back part of the duplicated fish – so the fish looks as if it is swimming over mermaid tail
  • C/P E 27 R 62% move at top of mermaid C/P again R 72% move near bottle
  • E 24 (will use this element two more times) place at top of water / sand layer
  • E 9 R 72% move over sand
  • E24 place to right of water under bottle
  • E12 R 78% move to left of frame
  • Apply Funhouse MoireMirror Filter setting at 8 – then repeat
  • C/P E 23 R 62% – move to left
  • E 42 R 62% move to right beneath the 2nd wave layer
  • C/P E 38 move down until the bottom area of plant
  • Back on top layer C/P Tube (If you are using the one I am R 32% then 92% Mirror – move to left ) If using a different tube resize to fit your canvas
  • C/P E 24 (waves ) Move in front center at tip of water
  • C/P E 28 resize 60% duplicate move down below tube layer – place in front of cattails
  • Back on top layer – C/P E 28 R 60% then 80% place to the left of the tube
  • C/P E 18 R 50% move to left Duplicate Mirror R 80%
  • C/P E 46 R 50% move to right Duplicate R 90% mirror
  • Duplicate then R 75% mirror place above shell
  • C/P E 3 R 75% X 2 move to left under shell but above starfish
  • C/P E 2 R 50% then 75% move to right above flip flops
  • C/P E 29 place where you want it
  • C/P E 8 R 42% X 2 move to tip of starfish on the left side

  • If using the same tube I am C/P tube duplicate R 1 of the images 75% -mirror place in frame on the left (if you are using a different tube resize accordingly)
  • With the other tube place face within frame on right side – merge tube layers together
  • On the paper layer of the frames – select all float defloat on tube layer invert delete
  • on tube layer duplicate
  • duplicated tube image apply guassian blur 3, Xero porcelain default settings except change blue to 0 change blend mode to screen
  • Merge down – Merge down again so that the tube and paper layer are on same layer
  • Merge down frame layer – Now tube image, frame and paper within frame should be on the same layer R 85% Anchor 1
  • Duplicate
  • On duplicated layer apply Guassian Blur & Xero Porcelain as above Change blend mode to screen
  • Add d/s to bottom frame as normal but change black to #d5b1f5 or another light color from your image
  • C/P E 07 R 58% Move across bottom of frame
  • C/P E 25 R 58% X 2 Move up and drag behind the frame
  • C/P E 24 R 80% X 2 center on canvas
  • C/P E 15 R 50% move over left side of hill to give the illusion of flowers growing on the hillside
  • C/P E 59 R 50% move to bottom of canvas. With deform tool stretch the log to cover the bottom of the hillside. Hold down ctrl button and pull up on the node on the upper lt side a bit. Refer to ss if needed
  • Adjust – Sharpness – Unsharp mask 3.00 30 3
  • C/P E 19 R 50% lower center of canvas
  • C/P E 48 R 50% x 2 place center left of log image
  • C/P tube if using the same as I am R 75% X 2 Move to left side (if you are using a different tube place it where you think it looks best)
  • C/P E 33 R 72% move to lower rt mirror duplicate R 72% Mirror
  • C/P E 10 R 50% X 2 place on tree on rt side of canvas
  • C/P E 53 R 58% X 2 lower right
  • C/P E 05 R 75% Move behind tube image on left side of canvas
  • C/P E 54 (Grass background) R 75% then 85 % with eraser brush erase around the edges to blend the image with the canvas (See SS if needed) move behind log layer toward bottom of canvas.
  • Resize image now if you want to. If you like the way your tag looks close out white layer – merge visible
  • Add your license number and copyright info as needed
  • Add name and you are done
  • I used font Rapturer Heavenly 72 colors foreground #ab24cd / #e9ddf4 background gradient a 0 r 0 I then applied penta.com filter dot, an inner bevel and a gradient glow.

  • New image 1000 X 1000 (now I know this is large but we will resize ) FF White
  • Link toggle 1 all the below layers
  • C/P E 54 R 50% Mura Meister Copies: Encircle Change Number to 8 Rotate 90 and phase to -45 background color #862020
  • C/P E 51 R 50% Mura Meister Copies : Encircle change Number to 7 Rotate 100 and phase -26
  • C/P E 4 R 50% repeat copies change number to 12
  • C/P E 33
  • C/P E 29 R 50% repeat copies same settings
  • C/P E 1 R 50% repeat copies same settings
  • Apply D/s with these settings: 1 -1 100 1 color: #826020
  • Magic Wand Click inside frame layer (E 33 )
  • Select raster 2 (this should be the first layer of flowers) hit clear
  • C/ P pp 18 paste as new layer – drag to bottom of image – R 72 % invert delete. Deselect
  • Selection tool – Merge Opaque crop to selection
  • Resize 72% all layers checked
  • Image – canvas size 700 X 700 center
  • Keep images link toggled 1 – we will merge them in a bit – but when you move the frame you want everything to move at the same time and place
  • C/ P tube R 72% X 2 , make sure to add your D/S to this layer now Link toggle 1 (this is the last image to link toggle as 1)
  • Magic Wand – click inside 2nd flower layer should be raster 3 Invert
  • on tube layer with eraser tool erase the bottom portion of the tube
  • Duplicate tube Apply Guassian Blur 3
  • Apply Xero Porcelain default settings – changing blue to 0 Change blend mode to screen
  • Merge Down
  • on bottom layer select all then crop to selection
  • move image down a little (make sure all the layers all link toggled 1 except for the white bg layer before moving)
  • Back on top layer

We are not merging yet as I placed elements with in layers of the frame. This kit is chocked full of gorgeous PNG elements so fill free to add as many or as few as you want. These are the ones I added and location on the canvas.

  • C/P E 69 R – 50 X 2 Select All Float Defloat
  • Effects – 3d Buttonize with theses settings 25 25 72 color: #b44c6b keep selected
  • contract 10 invert float defloat D/s 1 -1 100 black then -1 1 100 1 deselect
  • duplicate Image free rotate all layers unchecked R Free 39.22 on duplicated layer free rotate changing to left
  • Move one of the images to the right, the other to left side, place in between rows on frame at different levels. I place the image on the right side under the frame layer and the one on the right under the 2nd flower layer
  • C/P E 50 R 50% then 75% select all float defloat buttonize with same settings
  • Move to bottom center of frame Image free rotate all layers unchecked R 10.70
  • C/P E 26 R 50% move to left on dream image
  • C/P e 75 R 50% bottom right
  • C/P E 14 R 50% lower right
  • C/P E 15 R 75% move to left below jar layer
  • Duplicate mirror image free rotate all layers unchecked left 36.65 Pace below 2nd button layer on frame
  • C/P E 39 R 58% I placed 3 on my image on different layers of frame one to the right, 1 to the left and one to bottom left
  • C/P E 7 R 58% place between swan and dream image
  • C/P E 6 R 58% move to right place under jar, atop rose image
  • C/P E 8 R 58% X 2 I placed 3 in different areas and layers
  • C/P E 92% Duplicate flip move flipped layer to layer beneath all the frame layers
  • The other flower spray R 72% move down to bottom of image
  • Resize now if you want it smaller
  • New Layer drag to bottom – above white layer
  • Select All C/ P Pp 5 into selection
  • New layer C/P pp 2 into selection
  • Apply mask Trese Mask 0034 to both paper layers. Merge group on both layers.
  • Add your copyright and license info
  • If you want a blank to add names to for extra tags save now as pspimage
  • Add your name, I used Demodee Font sz 48 kerning at 65 black. Then added a nice gg ( EC 5 Impact Vaybs tiny double) changing the first color to # ffe7f9, leaving the 2nd color white, and #b43a67 as the last color. Drop Shadow settings 1 -1 92 black
  • Close or delete the white background layer
  • Save image as png – and you are done!

  • New 800 X 800 We will resize at end of tutorial if you want a smaller tag
  • Flood Fill white – new layer
  • Selection tool – custom selection settings: Left -0 Right – 800 Top – 400 Bottom – 800
  • C/P paper 13 into selection – Invert selection
  • Copy PP 4 into selection – keep selected
  • Filter – Ulead Particle Cloud at default setting click random until you have a cloud formation that you like apply
  • Deselect
  • Mask 85 sophisticate simon merge group
  • Open Frames 2 and 14
  • C/P Frame 2 C/P frame 14
  • Frame 14 – Image free rotate all layers unchecked R Free: 45.00
  • with magic wand click inside the top frame (frame 14) expand 10
  • New Layer
  • C/P pp 15 move this layer below the first frame Toggle paper and frames layers together
  • Open tube image Duplicate close original image
  • On duplicated image R 25% all layers checked – Copy Tube
  • move tube down until here face is visible within the frame
  • Click inside of the bottom frame layer expand 30 on tube layer invert clear
  • Change blend mode to screen
  • C/P E 78 R 45% X 2 move to left of tube image C/P E 78 again this tine R 52% X 2 move to right of tube (you can choose another fish if you prefer it to this one)
  • C/P E 80 R 50% x 2 mirror move to bottom left of tube
  • Close white and mask layer merge visible – R 85%
  • Open mask layer – move merged frame layer up and to the right a little bit

Adding some more elements ~ elements are listed from bottom up

  • C/P E 7 Free rotate Left 45.00 all layers unchecked move to bottom of frame
  • C/P E 68 Move layer behind frame layer move up a bit
  • C/P E 69 place over and down of E 68 move this layer to top
  • C/P E 56 R 68% move to center part of wave
  • C/P E 32 R 68%
  • C/P E 36 move toward bottom
  • C/P E 96 R 72% move to right mirror
  • C/P E 12 R 68% X 2 Move to upper left
  • C/P E 6 R 50% move to top over moon and frame
  • C/P E 42 R 72%
  • E 95 Move to left duplicate mirror
  • C/P E 72 R 72% X 2 move in front of stone tower
  • C/P E 41 R 58%
  • C/P E 28 R 50% mirror move by chest
  • C/P E 99 R 50% duplicate move both in front of chest one to the right and one to the left
  • move the duplicated / mirrored sand layer above this layer
  • C/ P E 25 R 58% duplicate mirror move mirrored image behind stone tower
  • C/P E 58 R 58% X 2
  • C/P tube R 58% mirror
  • C/P E 31 R 50% move to rt side of chest
  • C/P E 35 R 58% move to rt of chest in front of the bottle
  • C/P E 8 R 50% X 3
  • C/P E 10 R 50% x 2 duplicate place one behind the shell we just placed and the other one behind the rock to the right
  • If you are using my word art place it now – there are 3 different sizes I used the small word art on the bottom left of image.

Done except for adding copyright info and name(s)
I used font Pices of Eight size 72 color: #229782/#b6f024 foreground/ background gradient linear A 45 R 1
Save as PNG and you are finished
